Bergsøy
Bergsøy is a very quiet place. There are about 50-100 people on Bergsøy. It is a very lonely island to be honest. It's quiet most of the time and there is almost nothing to do. There is no club on Bergsøy, but there is a football field. There is also a kindergarden house near the football field. Bergsøy is a part of Gjemnes municipality.
We also have a mountain called "Bergsøy toppen". It is about 300 meters over the sea. There are also some farmers living at Bergsøy. During the summer season, it always stinks because of the cow poop. Yes, it might be boring, but it's still a place I really like to live, since it's quiet. I can sleep in peace and not to worry about anything. When it's winter and snow coming down from the sky, the road gets really slippy. If you are not careful, you could fall. There are two bridges and one tunnel at Bergsøy.
We have a bridge called Gjemnesbrua. If you want to get at Storlandet or Batnfjord, you have to cross this bridge. The bridge is about 1.257meter and was built around around 1992.
We have a bridge called Bergsøysundbrua. It leads to Tingvoll. If you want to reach Tingvoll by car you'll have to cross this road. The road was also opened at 1992. The bridge is about 931m.
We have a tunnel leading to Kristiansund and was also built around 1992. The tunnel begins at Bergsøy and it ends in Frei. The tunnel is around 5km, so if you want to reach Kristiansund by car you will have to cross this tunnel.
